This weekend we welcomed a new baby into our lives…PEANUT!
She’s a four month old coonhound/australian cattle dog mix who looks like a black lab from a distance but has the prettiest dark brown markings and wispy white furs on her toes and tip of her tail, plus one single spot on her thigh as evidence of her cattle dog-ness.
She came from a litter of pups all named after different nuts, and it seems like fate that we ended up with Peanut; I keep thinking I want to change her name but Peanut is just so cute and fitting for this peanut butter loving fam.
She’s currently snoozing in her crate with her stuffed gnome toy, and we are so very smitten by her (but also so very stressed out because OH YEAH, we’re moving next weekend). So, I’m not only stopping in to share our sweet little Peanut with you, but also to let you know that I’ll be taking the week off from blogging- you might find a few snaps of Peanut on my Instagram stories throughout the week if I can find time between potty training, snuggling, and packing, but I make no promises.
