Peanut’s Summer Adventures

Peanut really lived her best dog life this summer; from to daily walks to the beach, to lounging in the sun, to weekend road trips, to long hikes in the mountains, to making new dog friends and picking out new toys at the pet store, to having her first sleepover without us (a weekend with my sister!), and a sleepover at our house with her favorite little person (my neice!), and finally moving somewhere that she has a grassy backyard to play in, I’d say she really made the most of her summer.

She even handled our move like a champ, only getting a little stressed out on the actual day of the move when all the large furniture was being carried out of the house- and then instantly loving our new house once we got here. It probably helped that all of her favorite people were there to help us move (my dad, uncle, sisters, etc) so she was too busy being excited to see them to even realize she should be stressed out about the whole situation.

Lets take a deep dive in my camera roll to see what this girl was up to all summer long.

If this cooler September is any indication, Peanut’s summer schedule of beach-hike-nap-repeat is quickly going to turn into mostly just napping in a cocoon of blankets on the couch until Spring. Only time will tell.

Give your doggos an extra scratch behind the ears today from me + Peanut.

XO,

Chelsea
